Had another good day on the Elk. Brought home several nice catfish and a decent mess of bluegills. Ready for the crappie bite to turn on.

I hit the Elk river Saturday morning. Put in at Sportsman park to do some bream fishing with a buddy who doesn't fish much. We fished from 7am till noon or so. Saturday was the most impossible to fish day I've seen except a year ago almost exactly. You couldn't get out of the wind. I would change direction to ruin your location.
